Thanks for all of your encouragement on the Celtic Cable Scarf - it didn't help! LOL Well, actually I cast on but then realized that it called for a DK weight yarn and I was using worsted weight. That shouldn't make too much difference since it's a scarf - but it was so wide, and there is no way to cut that pattern repeat down, and I didn't think I'd have enough yarn....so it is on hold, and I cast on for the Irish Hiking Scarf with the worsted weight yarn. But, I'm not going to give up on the Celtic Cable Scarf (how can I now that you have all challenged me to go for it!) I think I have some DK weight alpaca in blue that would be really pretty. But for now - here is progress on the Irish Hiking Scarf - which is an easy cable pattern and I don't even have to count!
We have had rain and more rain - all the better to knit and read I guess. But it would be nice to see the sun again!
