Never Trust a Pull Skein!

I usually don't. I usually wind them up from the outside. But this one seemed to pull out easily and smoothly - right! Until about half-way through when it ended up in a tangled knot.
I had to cut and wind and finally ended up with three balls of yarn that will have to be spliced together. It's going to become a striped tote from One Skein. I'm using Paton's wool in a variegated blue, tan, brown color (do you recognize it Rose?) Never trust a pull skein!

OY!!! I do recognize the yarn, Jane. I didn't use the center pull, I unraveled from the outside. Now, I'm sure you have a winder, but like me you probably don't like to wind everytime you buy a yarn, right!??! Since it'll be a tote that you'll probably felt, I'm sure it'll be fine!

Oooo..that happened to me last week. I spent about two hours trying to untangle it before I gave up and cut it. Made me so mad to have wasted all that time. I could have been knitting for Heaven's sake....Sheesh! =D
