Wild and Wooly Night

The wind howled all night and we woke up to no power and tree branches down all over the yard.
This is pretty much the end of this tree, there is not much left standing, so DH will be cutting it down next week and cutting up the branches for fire wood.

Fortunately nothing was hit by the branches - not even our grill was damaged.

I do believe this is the end of our foliage though!

Amazing. I'm glad you have power back, and extra glad you had nothing hit by the branches.

YIKES!!!!

what a mess!

Glad you and the house are safe. Sorry about the rest of the leaves. it's snowed here today for several hours, but nothing stuck. It didn't get down to under freezing until after the snow and after dark. Ahhhhhh, pretty soon the days will be getting LONGER. I'm already starting to miss the light. Think it's time to turn on the happy lamp!

Have a great week @ school this week.

Jane,

Gee, I had a duh moment. I was going to ask if you had your electricity back yet . . . but obviously you do since you posted this.

I too am glad that everything is safe. Most of the foliage in my neck of the woods is hanging tough, except for the tree outside my office window.

I hope the rest of your week is calmer.
