Punxsutawney Phil

Stupid little rodent saw his shadow this morning and ran back in his hole for another 6 weeks. Hope he has some good books and yarn and needles stashed away in there. Think I'll do the same!
And I'll have some new yarn to do it with - I won a contest on BJ's Blog that I didn't even know I entered! Thanks BJ!!!

Congrats on winning the contest!!

Do you think the rest of the world thinks that we are just nuts when they read things like "ground hog day"?

I refuse to come out of my hole until Spring arrives, but hey the ground hog in Staten Island did NOT see his shadow can we go with him instead???

You are so right, stupid little rodent!! Maybe mother nature will get tired of this and send us some sun.

Congrats Jane! I'm off to go see what you won.

Eh.

You live in Maine. I live in Mn. We KNOW there's going to be six more weeks of this stuff!!!! (if it were ONLY 6 weeks....)

Congratulations from another winner. BJ is being good to us.

Hopefully Mother Nature will ignore the furry rodent & give us an early beautiful spring.

Keep on knitting!

Our trees are already budding out here in northeast Texas. I'm not quite ready for spring yet (please, no rotten tomatoes!). I know that our miserably hot, Texas summer will be following spring, so I'd just as soon hold things off a bit.

LOL... rodent indeed.

well... we have been having clear days. And at -20 F, just wish it were spring. This has been a wild winter.
